Sustainability

Sustainable farming methods build healthy soil by nourishing it with natural fertilizers like compost and manure as opposed to synthetic fertilizers. These methods concentrate on maintaining a healthy level of biodiversity and microbial activity within the soil and do not compromise the ability of future generations to meet their needs as these practices do not lower soil quality over time.

Sustainable farming uses organic seeds which means the seeds have to be all-natural and cannot be genetically manipulated or modified in any way. The company sources its ingredients from smallholder farmers and pays them fair prices for their products. We are committed to sustainable agriculture practices and supports regenerative farming methods that promote soil health and biodiversity.

According to UN, approximately 33% of global soils are already degraded and this degradation is accelerating. This is of a grave concern as soil forms the sustenance of life on earth. We are promoting soil regenerative farming. Regenerative farming seeks to improve soil health by using practices such as reduced tillage, cover cropping, crop rotations, and the use of compost and other organic amendments.
